Managing Queues

A reading from HBA1 Operations Course.

I’m gonna be real, if I feel like it I’ll type this up, but like we did so little from this reading in this course. The general gist is just, people wait in a line, there is variability in that, and apparent wait time and real wait time is different. If you want people to feel less sad, put some random things next to the line so they can look at it, pretend they’re gonna buy it, realize they’re broke, and keep waiting but feel better.
